Great way to spend a day out in a wine region, with someone else handling the driving! Yvette was a wonderful driver for a Sunday excursion to McLaren Vale. We have enough time for tastings at 3 wineries and did lunch at Beach Rd. Back by 5 and had a wonderful experience. Well recommended!
What a great find and experience - we upgraded and did the lunch experience - 4 wineries with lunch at Oxenberry. The food was great and was surprised at their wines. Fav was Primo. No need to think about making bookings it’s all done for you!! Boom so happy I did this and will be doing it again!!
This tour company deserves a pat on the back. Our driver/tour guide is exceptional. She was punctual, picking us up right on time. Even though we were quite late returning on one of our stop, she patiently waited for us. She had a great sense of humor and shared some good jokes, making the experience even more enjoyable.
This tour was fantastic. The personal touches, the staff care and attention to detail, their knowledge and the design of the tour were far superior to other tours!! Awesome way to experience multiple cellar doors in the Adelaide hills. Easy going, well organised tour group. We had driver Yvette for the day who’s fun and bubbly personality made the travelling part of the day thoroughly enjoyable as she shared with us her wealth of knowledge of the area and pointed us all in the direction of some great things and places to see and do around town.

A wonderful day in McLaren Vale! My driver and guide, Nathan, was extremely knowledgeable about the region and the city. He was also very kind and accommodating, giving me great tips for my first trip to SA. Also, everyone at the wineries was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
So glad we chose Trail Hopper for a day trip to McLaren Vale. We considered trying to do it by transit/taxi/Uber and feel we made the right choice, especially after we heard at one of the wineries about another group that were unable to get a taxi back to the train at the end of their day. It makes for a stress free day of wine tasting. Book it.
